Haydn's The Creation With NYC Chamber Orchestra & Masterworks

Manhattan Concert Productions presents Haydn's magnificent work The Creation, featuring the New York City Chamber Orchestra and Masterworks Festival Chorus. They will perform at the world renowned Carnegie Hall, led by esteemed Guest Conductor Nina Nash-Robertson. One of Haydn's two great choral masterpieces, The Creation is based on the book of Genesis and John Milton's Paradise Lost and depicts the creation of the universe by God, with soloists representing the archangels. The concert will also feature the National Festival Chorus performing a selection of shorter works hand-selected by Guest Conductor Edith Copley including Song of Triumph (Dale Grotenhuis), O Nata LuxLight Born of Light (Kevin Memley), and many more choral classics.
