‘세계의 교차로’ ‘세계의 맥박’으로 불리우는 타임스퀘어. 관광객들이 지나치는 자이언트 빌보드의 거리, 그러나 성마른 뉴요커들은 가능하면 피해가는 이 거리가 이번 주말 요가 빌리지로 변모한다.
21일은 낮이 가장 길다는 하지(summer solstice). 하지는 정신, 육체와 영혼을 갱신할 수 있는 날로 알려져 있다.
주말이 겹친 2014년 하지엔 요가 클래스가 6월 21일과 22일 양일 열린다. 특히 하지인 21일엔 새벽 5시 30분부터 밤 9시 15분까지 중 택일해서 동중정의 시간을 누릴 수 있다.
