2021 GRAMMY Awards: The Winners List

비올리스트 리처드 용재 오닐 최우수 클래식 솔로 연주상 수상

2020년 미 음악계를 결산하는 제 63회 그래미상(Grammy Awards) 시상식이 3월 14일 LA에서 트레버 노아의 사회로 열렸다.

 

한국계 비올리스트 리처드 용재 오닐(Richard Yongjae O'Neill)이 "Theofanidis: Concerto for Viola and Chamber Orchestra"로 최우수 클래식 솔로연주상(Best Classical Instrumental Solo)을 수상했다. 

 

한편, 방탄소년단(BTS)은 8월 발매한 싱글 '다이너마이트'로 빌보드 싱글 차트에서 3주간 1위에 랭크됐으며, 한인 대중가수 최초로 베스트 팝 듀오/그룹 퍼포먼스 부문 후보에 올랐으나 레이디 가가와 아리아나 그란데의 "Rain on Me"에 밀렸다. 

 

2021 그래미상은 여성천하가 됐다. 올해의 앨범은 'Folklore'의 테일러 스위프트, 올해의 레코드(싱글) 'Everything I Wanted'의 빌리 아이리쉬가 수상했다. 비욘세는 올해 4개의 그래미를 받으면서 총 28개로 여성 아티스트 최다 기록을 보유하게 됐다. 비욘세와 제이지의 딸 블루 아이비 카터도 첫 그래미를 받았다. 신인 아티스트는 'Savage'의 메간 티 스탤리온에게 돌아갔다. 1999년 로린 힐(Lauryn Hill) 이후 여성 래퍼로서 두번째 수상이다.
