'오징어 게임' 드라마 부문 남우주연-여우주연-스턴트앙상블상 3관왕

이정재-정호연 비영어권 최초 드라마 미배우조합(SAG)상 수상

2020년 '기생충(Parasite)', 2021년 '미나리(Minari)', 2022년 '오징어 게임(Squid Game)'... 한국영화인들이 세계 영화사를 새로 쓰고 있다.

2월 27일 캘리포니아주 산타모니카에서 열린 제 28회 미배우조합상(Screen Actors Guild Award, SAG)에서 TV 드라마 시리즈 남우주연상(이정재, Lee Jung-Jae), 여우주연상(정호연, Jung Ho-yeon), 그리고 올해 신설된 스턴트 앙상블상(Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Television Series)ㄲ까지 3개 부문상을 수상했다. 비영어권 드라마('*기생충'은 영화 부문)의 배우가 SAG상을 수상한 것은 처음이다.  '오징어 게임'의 오영수씨는 올초 골든글로브상 남우조연상을 수상한 바 있다. 

이정재는 무대에 올라 "정말 감사합니다.  너무 큰 일이 제게 벌어졌습니다. 많이 써왔는데 읽지는 못하겠습니다. 세계의 관객 여러분들 너무 감사드립니다. '오징어 게임' 팀 너무 감사합니다"라고 수상 소감을 밝혔다. 나천칠기를 연상시키는 루이뷔통 드레스에 댕기를 매고 나온 정호연은 영어로 "여기의 많은 배우들을 스크린에서 보면서 배우의 꿈을 키웠는데, 문을 열어주어서 감사합니다"라고 울먹이며 말했다. 

이로써 2020년 '기생충' 배우들이 비영어권 영화로는 최초로 SAG 최고상인 앙상블연기상(Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture)을 석권하고, 2021년 '미나리'의 윤여정씨가 여우조연상을 수상한데 이어 '오징어 게임'까지 3년 연속 한국 배우들이 할리우드 배우들과 경쟁해 수상하는 쾌거를 이루었다.  

2020 SAG 시상식에는 '오징어 게임'의 스타 이정재, 정호연, 박해수, 김주령, 아누팜 트리파티와 황동혁 감독이 참석했다.  '오징어 게임'팀이 후보에 올랐던 앙상블 연기상(Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series)은 HBO의 '계승(Succession)'에 돌아갔으며, 영화 부문 앙상블 연기상(Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture)은 코다(KODA)'가 수상했다.  산드라 오(Sandra Oh)는 'The Chair'로 코미디 시리즈 최우수 여우상 부문에 후보에 올랐지만, 수상하지 못했다.
