-FBI 요원 약 50명이 아이다호대학생 4명 살인사건을 수사 중이다. 이들 가해자가 1인 이상일 가능성을 갖고 살해 당시 인근 지역에 있었는지 조사를 위해 스마트폰 기지국 데이타와 소셜미디어 정보를 조사 중이다.

-피해자 두남녀(Chapin, Kernodle)는 사건 전날 토요일밤 아이다호대 축구 경기를 본 후 파티(Sigma Chi)에 갔다. 두 여대생(Mogen, Concalves)은 술집(Corner Club)에서 새벽 1시 30분까지 보냈으며, 개인 파티 운전사가 집까지 태워주었다.  

-검시관은 희생자들이 큰 칼로 여러번 찔렸다고 밝혔다. 

-희생자 여대상이 살해되기 전 7차례 전 남자친구에게 계속 전화한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 

-이 주택(6베드룸)의 2층과 3층에서 피해자들이 발견됐다.

-성폭행의 흔적이나 독극물, 무기는 발견되지 않았다.   

-이곳에 살고 있는 두 여대생 룸메이트는 무사하다. 이들은 각각 당일 새벽 1시에 귀가했으며, 수면 중이었을 가능성이 크다. 

-경찰은 사건 직후 "동네(Moscow) 전체에 임박한 위협은 없다"는 입장과 치정사건 추정에서 철회했다. 

-아이다호주 경계에 위치한 모스코우엔 약 2만5천명이 살며, 대학엔 1만1천명이 재학 중이다. 모스코우에선 7년간 살인사건이 보고되지 않았다.

아이다호대 백인 학생 4인 치정살인극 추정 -NYT-

 

아이다호대 재학생 4명(남1, 여3-백인)이 캠퍼스 인근 아파트에서 숨진채로 발견됐다. 

사망자는 21-year old Madison Mogen, 21-year-old Kaylee GonCalves, 20-year-old Ethan Chapin and 20-year-old Xana Kernodle. 아이다호대는 14일 수업을 취소했다.
