NYC Provides Enriching Summer Jobs for Youth

Applications are open for both youth and employers

New York City operates the nation’s largest summer youth employment program, connecting NYC residents between the ages of 14 and 24 with career exploration opportunities and paid work experiences each summer.

Last year, the Adams administration invested in record-breaking goals for Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP), offering 100,000 summer job opportunities to young people across the five boroughs.

Many of the job opportunities available through SYEP are located within NYC's incredible cultural organizations - giving our youth great on-the-job experience at some of the most iconic institutions. In turn, these institutions have access to the limitless talent our younger generation offers. 

Youth interested in joining the 2023 program should apply by March 31, 2023 at nyc.gov/syep.

Cultural organizations interested in serving as an SYEP host site can apply here by May 26, 2023.
