New York Film Critics Circle 2023 

Best Film: Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese

 

 

뉴욕영화비평가협회(New York Film Critics Circle)가 11월 30일 2023 영화상을 발표했다.

최우수 작품상은 마틴 스콜세지 감독의 '플라워 킬링 문', 국제영화상은 '추락의 해부', 데뷔영화상은 한인 셀린 송 감독의 '전생'이 선정됐다. '전생'은 이에 앞서 2023 고담 독립영화상(Gotham Independent Film Awards) 최우수 작품상으로 선정됐다. 

 

특별상은 50년 가까이 예술영화관 필름포럼을 이끌어오다 올해 은퇴한 카렌 쿠퍼가 받는다. 카렌 쿠퍼 전 관장의 후임은 한국계 작가 소냐 정(Sonya Chung)이다. 

 

1935년 설립된 뉴욕영화비평가협회는 에이미 토빈(전 빌리지 보이스, 현 아트포럼), 리처드 브로디(뉴요커) 등 신문, 주간지, 잡지, 온라인 등에 기고하는 비평가들로 구성되어 있다. 시상식은 내년 1월에 열린다. https://www.nyfcc.com
