영화 '오펜하이머'로 아카데미 남우조연상을 수상한 로버트 다우니 주니어가 주연할 링컨센터 비비안보몬트 시어터(Vivian Beaumont Theater)의 연극 '맥닐(McNeal)'에 한국계 배우 루시 앤 마일스(Ruthie Ann Miles)가 캐스팅됐다. 루시 앤 마일스는 뮤지컬 '왕과 나'에서 레이디 티앙 역으로 토니상 여우조연상을 수상했다. 

비비안보몬트 시어터의 설립 40주년을 맞아 공연되는 '맥닐'은 퓰리처상(2013) 수상 파키스탄계 작가 아이야드 아크타(Ayard Akhtar)의 원작으로 인공지능(AI)에 집착하는 노벨상 후보 작가의 이야기다. 연출은 '사우스 패시픽' '왕과 나'의 바틀렛 셔로 9월 5일부터 프리뷰 후 9월 30일에 공식 개막될 예정이다.
