세르비아 출신 노박 조코비치(32)가 2019 윔블던 테니스 우승컵을 품에 안았다.
노박 조코비치는 스위스 출신 로저 페데러(37)와의 결승전에서 난형난제의 마라톤 경기를 벌이면서 7-6 (5), 1-6, 7-6 (4), 4-6, 13-12 (3)으로 타이 브레이크에서 승점을 얻었다.
조코비치는 이로써 윔블던 5회 우승의 기록을 세웠으며, 지난해 US오픈, 올 호주 오픈에 이어 그랜드 슬램 4개중 3관왕이 됐다. 제 133회 윔블던 남자 단식 결승전은 4시간 28분에 걸쳐 진행되어 윔블던 사상 최장 게임으로 기록됐다.
