1960년대 포크 그룹 버즈(Byrds)와 크로스비, 스틸즈, 내쉬 & 영(Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young)을 결성해 로클롤 명예의 전당에 등재된 가수 데이빗 크로스비(1941-2023)가 18일 세상을 떠났다. 영화 '이지 라이더(Easy Rider)'의 데니스 호퍼에서 영감을 받았던 크로스비는 코카인과 헤로인에 중독되기도 했다. 2000년 가수 멜리사 에트릿지가 동성애 파트너 줄리 사이퍼와 사이에 출산한 아이(베일리, 25), 베켓(2020년 오이포이드 중독 사망)가 데이빗 크로스비의 정자 기증을 통해 이루어진 것으로 밝혀졌다.
