방탄소년단(BTS)의 정국(Jung Kook)이 11월 20일 카타르 월드컵 개막식에서 공연하고, 월드컵 사운드트랙에도 참가할 예정이다. 2022 카타르 월드컵엔 32개팀이 참가하며, 개막전은 카타르 대 에콰도르다. 월드컵은 12월 18일까지 계속된다.
