영국의 BBC 방송이 2018년 세계에서 가장 영향력있는 여성 100인을 선정 발표했다. 세계 60여개국 나이 15세부터 94세까지 다양한 분야에서 두각을 나타낸 여성들.
한인으로는 아이스하키 선수 랜디 희수 그리핀(30)이 38위에, 박수연(20) 디지털성범죄아웃(DSO) 대표가 71위에 올랐다.
38) Randi Heesoo Griffin, 30 - Olympic hockey player and data scientist, US.
Randi challenged critics of equal pay for women in ice hockey, using data that proved they were as popular on social media as the men. She also scored the first goal for the United Korea Olympic team at the 2018 Games.
71) Park Soo-yeon, 22 - Digital campaigner, South Korea.
Soo-yeon is the founder of an organisation that seeks to eradicate digital sex crimes.
