워싱턴 DC의 레스토랑 '미니바'로 미국에 타파스 열풍을 일으킨 스페인 출신 셰프 호세 안드레스(José Andrés)가 2019 노벨평화상 후보에 올랐다.
호세 안드레스는 2010년 아이티 지진 발생 후 비영리기구 월드센트럴키친(World Central Kitchen)을 설립, 인도네시아에서 캘리포니아까지 자연재해로 파생된 비해자들을 도와왔다.
