아마존이 롱아일랜드시티에 제 2 본사를 설립하며 2만5천개의 일자리를 창출하는 계획이 무산될 위기에 처했다.
워싱턴포스트지에 따르면, 아마존의 프로젝트는 지역 주민과 옹호그룹의 격렬한 반대로 재고에 들어간 것으로 알려졌다. 아마존은 워싱턴 포스트도 소유하고 있다.
