뉴저지 말턴의 한인 로렌스 김(Lawrence Y. Kim, 43)씨가 모친(75세)을 조경용 암석(landscaping rock)으로 내리쳐 체포됐다. 쿠퍼대학병원으로 옮겨진 모친은 의식불명 상태로 위중하지만, 안정적인 상태로 알려졌다. 경찰은 로렌스 김씨를 펜실베니아주 브린모어까지 추적, 김씨를 가중폭행, 무기소지 및 불법 목적을 위한 무기 소지 혐의로 기소했으며, 현재 2만5천 달러릐 보석금으로 펜실베니아에 구금 중이다.

The woman was taken to Cooper University Hospital where she was placed in critical but stable condition. She remains unconscious at the hospital.
