테네시주 내쉬빌의 기독교계 사립 초등학교 (Covenant School of Presbyterian Church)에서 27일 오전 10시경 총기난사가 발생해 9살 학생 3명과 성인 3명과 목사의 딸인 교장 등 6명이 사망했다. 총격범은 이 학교 출신 28세의 성전환자 오드리 헤일(Audrey Hale)로 알려졌다. 올해 들어 미국에서 일어난 129번째 총기난사다.
