뉴욕필하모닉의 여름 공원 콘서트가 2년만에 돌아온다. 6월 14일부터 19일까지 열리는 2022 뉴욕필 '콘서트 인더 파크(Concerts in the Parks)'는 한인 바이올리니스트 봄소리 김(Bomsori Kim)이 솔로이스트로 무대에 올라 막스 브루흐의 걸작 바이올린 콘체르토 1번을 연주할 예정이다. 지휘봉은 얍 판 즈베덴(Jaap van Zweden) 뉴욕필 음악감독이 잡는다.

 

스케줄은 브롱스의 밴코틀랜드파크(6월 14일)에서 시작, 맨해튼 센트럴파크(6월 15일), 퀸즈 커닝햄파크(6월 16일), 그리고 브루클린 프로스펙트파크(6월 17일)로 이어지며, 스태튼아일랜드에선 옥내 콘서트(6월 19일)로 진행된다.

 

프로그램은 브룩의 콘체르토 외에도 바그너 작곡 오페라 '뉘른베르크의 명가수들(Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg)' 중 서곡과 드보르작의 심포니 7번, 그리고, 남 롤닉스(14세), 알렉산더 로쉴드 두에히(17세) 등 뉴욕필의 청소년 작곡가들의 곡으로 구성된다. https://nyphil.org

 

 

김봄소리 Bomsori Kim 

1989년 대구에서 태어나 예원학교, 서울예고를 거쳐 서울대 음대에서 김영욱 교수를 사사한 후 줄리어드 음대에서 실비아 로젠버그와 로날드 콥스 교수를 사사해 석사학위와 아티스트 디플로마를 받았다. 장시벨리우스 콩쿠르, 퀸엘리자베스 콩쿠르, 차이코프스키 콩쿠르, 몬트리올국제음악콩쿠르 등에서 수상했다. 2019년 2월 뉴욕필과 탄둔(Tan Dun) 작곡 바이올린 콘체르토 '불의 의식(Fire Ritual)'을 협연하며 데뷔했다. 2021년 한인 여성연주자 최초로 도이치그라모폰과 전속계약을 맺었다. 삼성문화재단과 일리노이주시카고의 스트라디바리협회의 후원으로 과르네리우스 델제수 바이올린 "ex-Moller" 크레모나 1725를 연주한다. https://www.bomsorikim.com

Free Indoor Concert in Staten Island, Presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer June 19, 2022

 

The 2022 New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, Presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, will take place June 14–17, 2022, marking the return of the beloved series following two years of cancellations due to the pandemic. Music Director Jaap van Zweden conducts four free outdoor concerts, which take place at Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx (June 14); the Great Lawn in Central Park, Manhattan (June 15); Cunningham Park, Queens (June 16); and Prospect Park, Brooklyn (June 17). The program will include Wagner’s Prelude to Act I of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 with Bomsori Kim as soloist, Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7, and works by New York Philharmonic Very Young Composers: 14-year-old Naama Rolnick’s Keep Walking, and 17-year-old Alexander Rothschild Douaihy’s A Human Rhapsody. All four outdoor performances will begin at 8:00 p.m. and conclude with fireworks

In addition, Musicians from the New York Philharmonic will perform a Free Indoor Concert, on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., at St. George Theatre in Staten Island. Program to be announced. Tickets are free but required and will be available at a later date.

 

“Like so many New Yorkers, Didi and I missed tremendously the Concerts in the Parks these past two summers,” said Philharmonic Chairman Emeritus Oscar S. Schafer. “We love the parks, and we love this orchestra, so we’ve been eagerly awaiting their return. We look forward to seeing people come together in these beautiful parks across the boroughs to enjoy magnificent music performed by this virtuosic orchestra. It will truly mean that New York City is back!”

The New York Philharmonic’s free parks concerts have become an iconic New York summer experience since they began in 1965, transforming parks throughout the New York area into a patchwork of picnickers, and providing music lovers with an opportunity to hear classical music under the stars. More than 15 million listeners have been delighted by the performances since their inception.
