 June Korea/Visual Artist

서울 출생. 한국에서 산업공학을 전공했으나 이후 사진작가의 꿈을 이루기 위해 미국으로 이주, 캘리포니아 Art Center College of Design(ACCD)의 학사 과정, 뉴욕 School of Visual Arts(SVA)의 석사 과정을 각각 장학생으로 수료했다. 뉴욕에 거주하며 영상과 사진을 통해 그와 인형들이 만들어내는 동화 속 세계의 이야기들을 현실 밖으로 풀어내는 작업을 진행하고 있다. 2011년 미국 첫 개인전 'Still Lives: As I Slept, I left My Camera Over There'로 데뷔했고, 미 서부와 동부, 영국, 프랑스, 이스라엘 등지에서 전시와 출판 작업을 이어나가고 있다. http://www.JuneKorea.com
