Ensemble 212 proudly presents its third educational family concert featuring music by living composers of East Asian background. This innovative concert showcases various influences and styles used by today's composers in a jam-packed hour long concert.

These family concerts help listeners connect to new classical music by explaining the background, elements, and techniques used to make each piece unique. Real-time on-screen program notes are projected during the performance. This further enhances the listener's experience by leading them to a deeper understanding and appreciation of classical music. They describe the musical elements of the works in a fun and inquisitive manner. By creating this interactive forum of composers, performers and audience, children and adults alike can better appreciate and understand the music of today's composers.

There will also be an introduction and demonstration of the instruments and an interactive Q & A session with the composers and performers present. Don't miss this one of a kind educational concert that will shatter barriers and open contemporary classical music to young audiences.
