레오나르도 다 빈치에서 마티스까지 로버트 리만 컬렉션에서 선정한 유럽 거장 드로잉전 'Leonardo to Matisse: Master Drawings from the Robert Lehman Collection'이 10월 4일부터 내년 1월 7일까지 메트로폴리탄뮤지엄에서 열린다.

이 전시에는 레오나르도의 곰 드로잉에서 렘브란트가 레오나르도 작 '최후의 만찬'을 본딴 스케치, 고야의 자화상, 앵그르가 라파엘의 작품에서 영감을 얻은 것으로 보이는 포르나리나의 드로잉, 반 고흐의 거리 그림, 마티스의 여인 누드, 등 60여점이 소개된다. 전시 큐레이터는 디타 아모리(Dita Amory)씨.

로버트 리먼 컬렉션(Robert Lehman Collection): 2008년 파산한 국제금융회사 리먼 브라더스 가문의 금융인이자 아트 컬렉터 로버트 리먼이 1969년 사망 후 14세기부터 20세기까지 유럽 미술품 2600여점의 컬렉션을 메트로폴리탄뮤지엄에 기증했다. 리먼 컬렉션 중 700여점이 드로잉이다.
