Atempo Chamber Ensemble Presents Spring Concert
The Atempo Chamber Ensemble will present its Spring Concert
on Saturday, April 28, at 7:30 p.m., at Hackensack United Methodist Church.
The ensemble, under the leadership of Douglas Chung, Music Director/Concertmaster, will share the musical fragrance of the season.
We are pleased to welcome our Guest Artists, violinist “Emily Smith” and violist and erhuist “Wei-Yang Andy Lin”.
Selections in the program will include:
· B. Marcello: Introduction – Aria – Presto for Strings
· Y. Chen: Battle Steeds Galloping Ahead
· B. Britten: Simple Symphony for String Orchestra
· E. Elgar: Serenade in E-minor, Op.20 for Strings
· W. A. Mozart: Sinfonia Concertante for Violin and Viola in Eb major, K.364
Tickets are $20 in advance/$25 at the door with discounts offered for seniors and students under age 18.
