오는 4월 22일 릴릭시어터에서 공식 개막될 연극 '해리 포터와 저주받은 아이(Harry Potter and the Cursed Child)'가 브로드웨이 사상  최대의 제작비인 6850만 달러가 투여됐다고 뉴욕타임스가 보도했다. J.K. 롤링 원작 '해리 포터'는 이제까지 5억권이 판매됐으며, 영화는 이제까지 8편이 제작되어 77억달러의 수입을 올렸다.  

브로드웨이 뮤지컬로는 줄리 테이머가 연출하고, U2가 작곡한 '스파이더 맨: 어둠을 꺼라'의 제작비 7500만 달러였다.
