LOVE 조각으로 유명한 팝아티스트 로버트 인디애나가 5월 19일 메인주 바이날헤이븐에서 숨을 거두었다. 인디애나는 1978년부터 뉴욕을 떠나 바이날헤이븐섬에 은둔해 살아왔다. 2013년 휘트니뮤지엄에서는 그의 회고전 'Robert Indiana-Beyond LOVE'가 열렸다. 사망 전날인 18일 맨해튼 법정에는 그의 작품을 대표했던 모간아트재단이 인디애나를 따돌리고, 지난 2년간 인디애나의 이름으로 제작해온 것으로 의심되는 그의 관리인 제이미 토마스와 퍼블리셔 마이클 맥켄지를 대상으로 소송을 제기했다.
