CSO Judson and Joyce Green Creative Consultant Yo-Yo Ma brings the power of Bach’s timeless music to Chicago with a free concert at Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park (June 20). As part of his worldwide tour The Bach Project, Ma gives a solo performance of all six of the composer’s transcendent cello suites in one sitting. “Bach’s cello suites have been my constant musical companions,” he shares. “For almost six decades, they have given me sustenance, comfort and joy during times of stress, celebration and loss." This concert is free and open to the public.
