2019 영화배우조합(Screen Actors Guild)상 시상식에서 산드라 오가 '킬링 이브'로 TV 드라마 시리즈 부문 여우주연상을 수상했다. 산드라 오는 트로피를 받은 후 자신을 격려해준 동료 배우들에게 감사의 뜻을 밝혔다.  

최우수 앙상블 영화상은 '블랙 팬더', 여우주연상은 '와이프'의 글렌 클로즈, 남우주연상은 '보헤미안 랩소디'의 이집트 출신 라미 말렉이 차지했다. 평생공로상은 'MASH'의 알란 알다가 받았다. 이로써 주요 부문상 대부분이 소수계 배우들에게 돌아간 시상식으로 기록됐다.

이날 2018년 작고한 배우들을 추모하는 시간에서는 할리우드 1호 한인배우 오순택(Soon-Tek Oh, 1932-2018)씨가 페니 마샬 감독, 아레사 프랭클린 등과 함께 소개됐다.
