워싱턴 한국문화원은 2020년 K-Art 전시 작가 공모 프로젝트를 시작합니다. 워싱턴 한국문화원의 대표적인 시각예술 프로젝트인 K-Art 전시 공모는 한국 미술가들의 다양한 분야의 창의적인 작품을 미국 예술계에 소개하며 한국 미술가들의 활발한 창작 활동을 적극 지원하기 위하여 2016년부터 매년 실시되고 있습니다.
본 공모 분야는 회화, 사진, 미디어, 설치, 조각 등 제한이 없으며, 선정된 작품은 2020년 중 워싱턴 한국문화원에서 그룹 또는 개인전으로 전시될 예정입니다.
공모 마감은 오는 9월 1일 까지이며, 자세한 정보 및 신청서 다운로드는 워싱턴 한국문화원 홈페이지(www.koreaculturedc.org)를 통해 확인할 수 있습니다. 응모된 작품은 현지 전문가들로 구성된 심사위원들의 공정한 심사를 거쳐 선발할 예정이며, 공모 결과는 12월에 개인 또는 미술단체에게 개별 통지될 예정입니다.
향후 워싱턴 한국문화원은 창의적인 역량을 갖춘 한국 미술가들에게 공정한 기회를 부여하며 활발한 창작활동을 지원할 예정입니다. 많은 미술가 여러분들의 관심과 참여를 바랍니다.

2020 'K-Art' Open Call for Artists
The Korean Cultural Center Washington, D.C. is now accepting proposals for the upcoming 2020 exhibition season. The K-Art Gallery presents monthly exhibitions that highlight the diversity of Korean and Korea-inspired art, bringing east and west together.The gallery accommodates various types of art and multimedia, both traditional and contemporary.
