도날드 트럼프가 30일 오후 백악관 브리핑에서 "난 한국을 누구보다도 더 잘 안다. 매우 밀집됐다"면서 자신감있게 서울의 인구가 3천800명이라고 으시댔다. 그리고 트위터 등 소셜미디어의 조롱거리가 됐다.
"I know South Korea better than anybody. It's a very tight. Do you know how many people are in Seoul? Do you know how big the city of Seoul is? 38 million people. That's bigger than anything we have."
The population of Seoul is 9.7 million.
There are only 9 million people in Seoul, and just 51 million in all of South Korea.
