US 뉴스 앤 월드 리포트지가 미 고등학교 순위를 발표했다. 50개주의 고교 2만4천개교의 데이타(주평가시험 성적과 대입시 준비 등 6개 항목)를 분류한 바에 따르면 1위는 알렉산드리아(VA)의 토마스제퍼슨고교가 차지했다. 뉴욕시에선 플러싱의 타운센드 해리스고가 1위, 2위는 맨해튼의 스타이브샌트고가 랭크됐다.
