캘리포니아 주립대학이 입학전형에서 SAT와 ACT 점수 제출을 폐지한다.
지난해 캘리포니아에서는 시민단체들이 캘리포니아주립대(UC) 측에 "대입전형에서 SAT·ACT 점수 제출 의무를 폐지하지 않으면 소송을 제기할 것"이라는 의향서를 발송했었다.
The University of California system will drop the requirement for SAT and ACT scores, a move with major implications for college admissions.
The change is expected to accelerate the momentum of American colleges away from the tests, amid concern that they are unfair to poor, black and Hispanic students.
