타임스퀘어 등 전국에 1000여개 영화관을 운영하는 AMC가 코로나 팬데믹으로 영영 재개관을 못할 가능성이 큰 것으로 알려졌다. AMC는 넷플릭스와 경쟁에 허덕이다가 코로나로 직격탄을 맞았다. AMC는 중국계 대기업 달리안 완다(Dalian Wanda) 소유다.
