지난 1일 오전 3시 소호의 롤렉스 숍에서 240만 달러 가치 시계가 약탈되어 2명의 혐의자가 체포되었다는 뉴욕포스트의 뉴스는 가짜로 드러났다.

GQ 매거진에 따르면, 소호의 그린 스트릿엔 롤렉스 라이센스를 받은 숍은 없으며, 롤렉스 시계를 취급하는 시계점이다. 둘째로 그 숍의 주인은 시계가 도난당한 사실이 없다고 공식 밝혔다. 이 문제의 기사는 트튀터로 9만건이나 리트윗됐다. 이에 뉴욕포스트는 기사를 정정했다.
