억만장자 할리우드 제작자 스티브 빙(55) 자살

뉴욕의 부동산 개발업자 가문에서 태어나 18세에 6억 달러를 유산으로 물려받고, 스탠포드대를 중퇴한 후 할리우드 제작자가 된 스티브 빙(Steve Bing, 55)이 LA의 럭셔리 아파트 빌딩 27층에서 투신 자살했다.
스티브 빙은 스티브 스탤론 주연 '겟 카터' 톰 행크스 주연 애니메이션 '폴라 익스프레스' 롤링 스톤스 다큐멘터리 'Shine a Light' 등을 제작했으며, 할리우드 스타 샤론 스톤, 우마 서먼, 파라 파세트, 모델 나오미 캠벨 등과 사귀었다. 모델 엘리자베스 털리와는 친자 소송전에 휘말렸다가 아들로 판명됐다.
2009년엔 전용 비행기로 북한에 억류됐던 아시안아메리칸 기자 로라 링과 유나 리의 송환을 지원했다. 민주당 각계에 기부금을 쾌척했으며, 제프리 엡스타인과도 친분이 있었던 것으로 알려졌다.
