아이 러브 뉴욕(I ♥ NY)을 디자인한 밀턴 글레이저씨가 자신의 91세 생일날인 6월 26일 세상을 떠났다.
1929년 뉴욕 브롱스의 헝가리 출신 유대계 가정에서 태어난 밀턴 글레이저는 쿠퍼 유니온 졸업 후 'I ♥ NY'을 비롯, 브루클린 브류어리(Brooklyn Brewery)' 밥 딜런 앨범 등을 디자인했으며, 뉴욕 매거진을 공동으로 창립했다. 9/11 이후에는 I ♥ NY MORE THAN EVER를 디자인했다.
