아키텍쳐 다이제스트가 색면화가 마크 로스코가 씨그램 벽화를 그렸던 맨해튼 로어이스트사이드 스튜디오(222 Bowery St.@Prince St.)를 소개했다. 

1884년 로마네스크 리바이벌 양식으로 건축된 이 건물은 뉴욕 최초의 YMCA가 들어섰으며, 프랑스 화가 페르낭 레제, 소설가 윌리엄 보로스도 살았다. 마크 로스코는 1957년부터 1962년까지 이 건물에서 작업했다.
