미국이 코로나19 확진자 수에서 연이어 최고 기록을 깨며 지구촌의 2/3의 확진자 수를 보유하게 됐다.
뉴욕타임스에 따르면, 7월 16일 미국의 하루 확진자 수가 7만4천명으로 지난 7월 10일 최고 기록이었던 6만8천241명을 추월했다.
