위스콘신 백인 경찰 흑인 총격사건....미 프로농구 게임 보이콧

지난 일요일(23일) 위스콘신주에서 흑인 남성 제이콥 블레이크(29)가 경찰에 의해 7발의 총탄을 맞고 쓰러졌다. 이 장면을 세명의 아이들이 차 안에서 목격했으며, 병원으로 이송된 블레이크는 하반신 마비가 됐다. 올 5월 25일 미네소타주에서 벌어진 조지 플로이트 사건 이후 다시 #BlackLivesMatter에 기름을 부은 격이다. 경찰은 바디캠을 착용하지 않았지만, 이 장면은 한 시민이 촬영 후 공개했다. 총격을 가한 경찰은 백인 러스틴 셰스키(Rusten Sheskey)로 밝혀졌으며, 바로 휴직에 들어갔다.
이후 곳곳에서 항의 시위가 벌어지고 있으며, 위스콘신주 밀워키 벅스팀 등 미 프로농구(NBA)팀들은 플레이오프 경기를 무기한 연기한다고 밝혔다.
