24일 저녁 8시 50분경(동부시간)부터 구글의 G메일, 유튜브, 구글드라이브, 검색 엔진 등 서비스가 중단되었다. 저녁 10시 7분 경 복구됐지만, 구글 측은 서비스 중단의 사유에 대해서는 밝히지 않았다.
