포크싱어이자 노벨문학상 수상자인 밥 딜런(Bob Dylan, 79)의 본명은 로버트 짐머만(Robert Zimmerman)이다. 

그가 1962년 이름을 바꾸게된 것은 반유대주의 때문이었다. 당시 대부분의 사람들은 유대인하면 고리대금업자나 장사꾼이라 생각했다고. 딜런은 시인 딜런 토마스(Dylan Thomas)에서 따왔다.
