비영리 예술 지원 기구 'AFTA(Americans for the Arts)'의 로버트 린치(Robert Lynch) 회장이 인종적 다양성 정책 실패로 사퇴 위기를 맞았다고 워싱턴포스트가 보도했다. 로버트 린치는 록밴드의 기타리스트, 영어 교사, 프리랜서 기자를 거쳐 1985년부터 AFTA를 운영해왔으며, 조 바이든 차기 대통령의 인수위원회 팀에 지명됐다. AFTA의 연간 예산은 1천600만 달러이며, 기부금은 1억 달러 이상에 이른다. 린치의 연봉은 약 90만 달러다.
