앤드류 쿠오모 주지사가 3월 19일부터 뉴욕시 레스토랑의 수용인원을 현 35%에서 50% 수준으로 확대했다. 뉴욕시를 제외한 뉴욕주의 모든 식당은 최대 75%를 받을 수 있다. 뉴저지도 19일부터 50%로 증원이 가능해진다.

한편, 매사추세츠주는 3월 1일, 코네티컷주는 3월 19일부터 모든 식당의 수용인원 제한 규정을 해제했다.
