Queens Museum
Social Practice Queens (SPQ) is a unique degree program and partnership between Queens College CUNY and the Queens Museum, focused on the intersection of art and social justice. Art As Social Action honors this decade-long pedagogical experiment by featuring interdisciplinary projects by nine local and international SPQ alumni: Alix Camacho-Vargas, Floor Grootenhuis (with Joel Murphy), Cody Herrmann, Jeff Kasper, Naomi Kuo, Julian Louis Phillips, Erin Turner, Pedro Felipe Vintimilla Burneo, and the Workers Art Coalition.
Social Practice Queens (SPQ) es un programa universitario excepcional y una colaboración entre el Queens College CUNY y el Queens Museum que se centra en la intersección entre arte y justicia social. Art As Social Action rinde homenaje a este experimento pedagógico que ya cumple una década e incluye proyectos interdisciplinarios de nueve alumnxs locales e internacionales de SPQ: Alix Camacho-Vargas, Floor Grootenhuis (con Joel Murphy), Cody Herrmann, Jeff Kasper, Naomi Kuo, Julian Louis Phillips, Erin Turner, Pedro Felipe Vintimilla Burneo y la coalición Workers Art Coalition.
