뉴욕주 윤리위원회가 앤드류 쿠오모 전 주지사가 코로나팬데믹 회고록(American Crisis: Leadership Lessons from the Covid-19 Pandemic)의 수입금 510만 달러를 반환하라고 명령했다. 윤리위원회는 쿠오모가 행정부 간부와 저임금 보좌관들이 저술, 편집 및 출판을 도왔을 때 약속을 어겼다고 밝혔다. 쿠오모는 이미 책 수익금 중 50만 달러를 자선단체(United Way of New York)에 기부하고, 세딸 이름으로 100만 달러 신탁에 넣은 것으로 알려졌다.
