뉴욕시 지하철 운행이 오미크론 확산으로 지연 사태를 일으키고 있다. 1주에 지하철 인력 6천300명 중 21%인 1천 300명이 확진으로 결근하고 있기 때문이다. 이에 따라 뉴욕시 지하철 22개 노선 중 3개(B, W, Z)는 운행 중지됏으며, 기타 노선은 한없이 지연됐다.
