Tracing Modigliani

Wednesdays, June 8 & 15

In this two-part virtual workshop, revisit the Jewish Museum’s past exhibition, Modigliani Unmasked, and trace the evolution of a prolific modern artist’s hand. Explore various drawing techniques, such as line, contour, and shading, to create a portfolio of sketches inspired by work from the exhibition. Instruction will involve a combination of live drawing activities, at-home exercises, and discussing completed drawings in a small group.

Participants should have access to a computer with a camera and WiFi, and will receive a Zoom link prior to the program date.

All skill levels are welcome.

Tickets: $35 General; $30 Jewish Museum Members

This is a two-session class. Ticket purchase is required and includes both sessions on June 8 & 15.
