11일 달라스 코리아타운 미용실 헤어월드 총격 피해 한인여성이 경찰회의에 참석했다고 달라스모닝뉴스가 보도했다. 마스크와 선글래스를 쓰고 기브스와 슬링을 찬 익명의 한인 여성은 한국어로 "다시 태어난 기분이다"라면서 "한인타운이 더 안전해지길 바란다"고 밝혔다. 총탄 3발을 맞은 이 여성은 손 부상으로 자신의 생계가 염려된다고  말했다. 사건 당일 오후 헤어월드엔 한인 3명, 직원 2명과 고객 1명이 있었다.

The FBI said it is investigating the shooting last week that injured three as a potential hate crime.
