맨해튼 차이나타운에서 가장 아름다운 건물, 소방서(Firehouse, Engine Company 31)로 사용하는 빌딩(87 Lafayette St.)에 다큐멘터리 영화 전문 극장이 문을 연다. Downtown Community Television Center (DCTV)의 시네마 포 다큐멘터리 필름(Cinema for Documentary Film) 극장은 67석으로 4K 프로젝션, 7.1 서라운딩 사운드로 첨단의 영사, 음향시설을 갖추고 있다. 이 건물은 1895년 16세기 프랑스 루아르 밸리 샤토 양식으로 건축됐다.
