토드 필드 감독의 '타르(Tár)'가 뉴욕비평가협회(New York Film Critics Circle Awards)의 2022년 최우수 영화로 선정됐다. '타르'의 케이트 블랜쳇은 최우수 여우주연으로 뽑혔다. 한편, 최우수 넌픽션 영화는 로라 포이트라스 감독의 '모든 아름다움과 유혈사태(All the Beauty and the Bloodshed)'가 선정됐다. 최우수 외국어영화는 폴란드의 예르지 스콜리모프스키 감독의 '이오(EO)'가 차지했다.

'타르'는 모든 것을 다 가진 지휘자/작곡가 리디아 타르의 몰락을 그린 작품이다. '모든 아름다운과 유혈사태'는 사진작가 낸 골딘이 중독성 진통제 옥시콘틴 제약회사를 운영해온 새클러 가문과의 투쟁을 담은 다큐멘터리다. '이오'는 당나귀의 시선으로 담은 인간들의 모습을 그렸다. 시상식은 내년 1월 4일 맨해튼 다운타운의 레스토랑 TAO에서 열린다.
