제 61회 뉴욕영화제(9/29-10/15)에서 자원봉사자를 모집한다. 18세 이상으로 영화제 기간 중 최소 20시간을 일할 수 있으면 지원할 수 있다. 자원봉사자는 영화제 T셔츠, 자원봉사자 시사회와 공공 상영회에 참가할 수 있으며, 링컨센터필름소사이어티 1년 회원권을 얻을 자격이 주어진다. 자원봉사자로 뽑히면, 9월 7일 열리는 오리엔테이션에 참가해야 한다.

Calling all cinephiles! 

 

The 61st New York Film Festival is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to assist a number of departments including Production, Philanthropy, Press, Special Events, and Theater Operation. Volunteers are an invaluable part of the New York Film Festival, which wouldn’t be possible without the dedication and support of so many amazing people!

 

Volunteers must be 18+ to participate and must commit to a minimum of 20 hours during the festival, taking place September 29–October 15, with Pre-Fest shifts beginning in early September. All volunteers are required to attend a mandatory volunteer orientation to be held on September 7. 

 

While some volunteer positions require special skills, many volunteers are needed to perform general tasks under direct supervision of festival staff. For their participation, volunteers will receive a T-shirt, access to volunteer screenings and public screenings (subject to availability), and eligibility to earn a one-year Film at Lincoln Center membership. 

 

The application will remain open until we receive enough candidates. You will be notified of your acceptance status by the first week of September. The form will ask you to rank your department assignment by preference, but please note that we cannot guarantee your first choice. Please also note that preference will go to volunteers that are available for consistent shifts.

 

Kindly note that ALL applicants are still required to submit their request for accreditation through Eventival by following these steps:

 

Create an Eventival account HERE. You will be asked to verify your email address before your account is created. If you already have an Eventival account from another festival, follow the link and sign in using your existing account.

Once you are signed in to your Eventival account, follow the links in the left-hand column to fill out your Personal Profile. You will be asked to upload the photo you wish to have on your volunteer badge if your application is approved. Once uploaded, your badge photo cannot be changed.

Next, fill out your Contact Information.

Next, click on Accreditation and select the Volunteer badge.

Fill out all required fields in the form and click Request Badge.

You will receive an automated confirmation email when your application is received. Kindly note that your application submission is not a guarantee that you will receive volunteer shifts.

 

In addition to receiving a meal voucher (for shifts that are 4 hours or longer) and a volunteer T-shirt (to be worn during shifts unless otherwise indicated), volunteers who work 30 hours or more will earn the following tiered Film at Lincoln Center membership benefits: 

 

30+ hours: Innovator Level membership

40+ hours: Contributor Level membership

60+ hours: Friend Level membership
