뉴욕현대미술관(MoMA)이 8월 1일부터 23일까지 관람객이 잠깐 들러 그림을 그릴 수 있는 클래스 'Drop-in Drawing'를 연다. 미술교육가 폴라 스터트만(Paula Stuttman)의 지도로 그림을 통해 미술을 탐구할 수 있다. 남녀노소 불문, 예약은 필요없다. 클래스에 필요한 재료와 의자가 제공되며 무료. 매주 첫째 금요일 오후 4시 이후엔 입장료도 무료다.

Explore artworks through drawing in relaxed drop-in sessions for all ages. Materials and seating are provided. Drop-in Drawing is free with admission and open to all, with no experience or ability required. Drop-in Drawing is facilitated by MoMA staff and guest artists and takes place in different galleries each month.

Our August Drop-in Drawing session will be facilitated by teaching artist Paula Stuttman and museum staff, and will be held in the exhibition Alex Katz: Seasons. In addition to self-guided drawing prompts, this session will feature short, artist-led demos/lessons throughout the evening. Drop-in Drawing takes place in conjunction with MoMA’s UNIQLO NYC Nights event, when the Museum is open late on the first Friday of every month and admission is free for New Yorkers.

Explore artworks through drawing in this relaxed drop-in session for all ages. Materials and seating are provided. Participation is open to all, with no experience, ability, or reservations required. Drawing prompts will be available in English and Spanish.
